Who We Are
At Clinch River Labradoodles, life is full of energy, adventure, and the joy of raising dogs. Nestled in the mountains along the beautiful Clinch River, we live and work on a busy farm where our dogs are part of the action every day. Surrounded by nature, wide open spaces, and the steady rhythm of farm life, our Labradoodles grow up in an environment that encourages confidence, curiosity, and play.
As an adventurous family that loves being outdoors as much as our dogs do, we believe in giving every puppy the chance to explore, learn, and thrive from the very beginning. From romping in the fields to snuggling inside, our puppies experience a balance of freedom, structure, and lots of love.

Our Story
Every good story has a special beginning — and ours started with a birthday surprise.
When our daughter turned seven, we wanted to give her a gift she would remember forever. We created a scavenger hunt around our family farm, hiding clues in all her favorite spots — the garden, the barn, and beneath the old oak tree. Each clue brought her closer to the final surprise, waiting down by the river that winds through our land.
That day brought endless joy to our daughter — and sparked something even greater for our family. We quickly fell in love with the breed that had brought her so much happiness — their intelligence, gentle nature, and joyful hearts captured us completely.
From that moment, we knew we wanted to share that same joy with other families.
And so, Clinch River Labradoodles was born — named after the very place where it all began, by the river that runs through our story.

Cindy Jo & Sarah
We are Cindy Jo Ball and Sarah Harman, sisters-in-law, mothers of three, and lifelong dog lovers. What began as a shared dream, to raise healthy, happy puppies while supporting our children’s Christian education, has grown into a heartfelt breeding program built on love, integrity, and connection.
Cindy has years of experience breeding Labrador Retrievers, and Sarah, originally from England, now calls the rolling hills of Castlewood, Virginia home with her husband and children. We are united by our faith in Jesus Christ and a shared joy in nurturing and sharing the wonderful Australian Labradoodle breed with others.

The Australian Labradoodle is one of the finest family companions you can find. Bred originally for service and therapy work, the breed has been carefully refined over generations for consistency in health, structure, and temperament. Unlike other doodle mixes, the Australian Labradoodle is a true, multigenerational breed with a purpose and a legacy.
Known for their balance, these dogs are calm and intuitive when it’s time to relax, yet playful and adventurous when it’s time for fun. This adaptability makes them a perfect fit for family life, able to offer both steady companionship and joyful energy.
Their exceptional temperament is no accident—it’s the result of thoughtful breeding that has preserved intelligence, loyalty, and deep connection. To us, they’re more than dogs; they’re part of our story, and we’re proud to share this extraordinary breed with others.
